For this session share, I wanted to do something a little different and include just one image because to me, this single image embodied their entire in-home newborn portrait session. I love the playful in between moment I documented, and the way the girls are dancing around Mama, so happily. All three sisters look relaxed and happy, and this wasn't a forced interaction. Always have the camera ready because you never know what will unfold in front of you.

I also love the way textiles bring in an element of softness into the frame - the sheer curtains, the soft flowing dresses, and that subtle hint of pink as a nod to yet another baby girl welcomed to the family.

It's moments like this that I know Mom will look back on and smile years later when she is enjoying looking back at her newborn photos. In home newborn portrait sessions can  look like a studio with the right light and a little help from sheer window treatments.
