This wonderful family was as hospitable and kind as the sky was vibrant on the beach that night, and I am so honored to be able to share a little piece of their story. Blueberry farmers from Georgia, newlyweds currently based for work in Qatar, a new mom of a little guy named Oliver...so many different stories wrapped up into one beautiful portrait session.

This family vacations near Saint Augustine Beach, Florida every year so the beach just outside of their rental home was the ideal place to shoot their family photo session. And as summer luck would have it, the clouds parted just before sunset and opened up to God's grace of a beautifully, vibrant sky - it was magic. I chose to share a few of my favorites from that time because it was so different from when we started! Yes, it does rain here in Florida during the summer, a lot, but don't get discouraged because sometimes the approaching rainstorm is exactly what you need for a magical family photo session on the beach.
