Another one of my favorite things about a sunny day near sunset is that light and airy look that you get when the light is opposite the coast. The water during a beach session is of course welcomed, but I've always loved the shots opposite it too. It gives a bit of variety to a family beach session, and really lens to that light and airy look.

I've included a few of my favorites here from this airy coastal session, and I hope you enjoy them too! During my photo sessions, I always like to include variety as much as possible and when outdoors, you have to work around the elements as best you can.

And on that point - Pro Tip: When styling yourself for a beach session, if you have longer hair, opt for a braid. It's flattering and on trend, and it will help with those whispy flyaways that are bound to happen on a windy day at the beach!

Another session on the books for this lovely family that I've been working with for eight years! I am always so honored to be asked time and again to document a family's milestones.
