Happy Halloween from my family to yours! I wanted to share a fun post this week of a recap of our costumes from year's past, as well as all of the fun we had this year as siblings! This was our very first year as siblings for Halloween so of course I had to go a little overboard - ha! We love Disney, as you can tell, so there are a few of those costumes as well! I've included some pics from year's past too. My favorite to date still is when we dressed Elle as a cabbage patch kid, equipped with a homemade box and all!
I hope you enjoyed the holiday with your littles. It's always nice to take a break from the busy holiday season and enjoy time with family.
Thanks for reading!
Our very first Halloween costume as a family of four! This was so much fun to re-enact one of our favorite Disney movies, The Little Mermaid. Elle loves being Ariel and Justin was totally OK with being prince Eric, ha! Jack is Sebastian and of course what's left for Mom is the Villain, Ursula, but I was OK with that! Loved the wig too!
This month Jack turned 9 and 3/4's! So...of course we had to have a little sesh for our favorite little wizard! His face on this last one is priceless. Hahaha Can you tell he's not even a year old and already over photos?
One of my favorite, if not still my favorite, Disney movies - Cinderella! I had to do this sibling costume. We already had most of these things in the house so this one cost us next to nothing!
My husband loves Star Wars so of course now that we have a baby boy we had to do a Chewie! I just love the one of him walking away. He's just 10 months old and completely walking already! Elle was just over a year so I guess it's true what they say, the second child really does move so much faster!
As a family, we almost did an Incredibles costume but decided to go throwback style with the 80's Little Mermaid. BUT, that being said, we do have a son named Jack and incidentally already call him "Jack Jack" as a nickname so I had to throw this one into the mix this year. Besides, what toddler doesn't love to dress up like a super hero, right?!
His face in this second image KILLS me! It's so Jack! This wolf hat is his big sisters so I wanted to carry on the tradition with a shot of him in it too since this was his first Halloween. The reason for the excitement in the second image?...he finally grabbed the phone I hid at the bottom of the pumpkin. Hahaha. The kid never has a phone, ever, not sure of the fascination but they love that blue light.
A few shots from year's past, sans Jack. I still love my daughter's very first Halloween costume as a cabbage patch kid. I made that entire costume. She had so much chunk, she looked just like one of those dolls! Too cute. Still my fav.
And lastly but certainly not least, Moana! We love this movie and since we just moved out her to the beach near St. Augustine, we wanted to make it a point to document this sweet time for them with a little fun! Elle loved the props that came with this one. Jack...his hair might look a little more like an 80's hair band than Maui, but it still cracked us up.
