As many of you know, this has been quite the journey for our family, 7 years in the making in fact, and I'm thrilled to announce that we finally got to welcome home our own little addition in December.

The past month we've been enjoying life as a family of three. Until I return back to work this spring, I wanted to share a few portraits we created during the first 48 hours of Elle's life. If you're expecting and are considering hiring a professional to document those first moments as a new family, DO IT! I have taken over 1600 images of my little in just 7 short weeks and these first images taken before we even left the hospital are still among my very favorites. They change in such a short time span, and these moments are so fleeting. Commission a professional to document this time; you won't regret it!
