It's been quite the year, this 2020! I am so excited and have been planning for what seems like forever for fall sessions, for this time of year I look forward to each and every year, without fail. Since we have all been placed in such unpredictable circumstances this year, all 2020 plans seem to fall under the "let's play it by ear" notation. I'm happy to say that, with the help of my premier locations, I will be pulling off fall family portrait sessions for a handful of select clients.
I've been photographing the Tran family for years and they are positively the best! Mom and I have become wonderful friends over the years. This friendship helps when it comes to photographing their two boys, since I've been photographing the parents since before their oldest son was born. This family is two-time Baby Plan members, and have hired me many times over to document family vacations and special family events.
Dad is a doctor and celebrating life is especially important to him. This family loves my film services! I'd like to share a testimonial from one of their previous film sessions ...
Rya, I don't think you realize how much you captured. You got Nathan singing in Korean (which he just learned a few months ago). You caught us singing in Korean. You got us playing acorn toss, and got belly laughing from me even. You can hear me say "feet forward, feet backward" in Korean, which is how I taught him to swing!
The best part (now that we've lost friends who've left behind children) is that you got our voices and little sayings for them for when our time comes. Thang always tells them, "You're silly," and me saying "peek-a-boo" in Korean to Ethan.
Thank you SO much.
I love that testimonial, and I loved the family's fall clothing choices, too. Mom's boots, especially. It just goes to show you that even in Florida, you can have amazing fall style!
A funny little aside about this session is that the farm is home to a resident goat named Kristoff (yes, Kristoff - like the Frozen character). We got chased around the property by Kristoff! We had to call the owner to have them rescue us in their golf cart. It was hilarious. Never a dull moment!
