I hadn't seen this sweet family (uber-successful restaurateurs and owners of Dragonfly Sushi) since their studio newborn session back in Jacksonville so I was thrilled to be able to work together again and capture their family together on the coast! We met on a warm and sunny morning for this dreamy family session in St. Augustine, Florida.

I knew this special beach location tucked away from the usual crowds was the perfect setting for their family portait session, and their family film! I wanted an intimate spot where their children could interact with each other in peace, and play in the surf uninterrupted by passers by. Aside from the occasional fisherman, we were totally alone during our session. We explored and played until the sun rose just enough for it to become hot. The boys played, Dad chased, and we got to document some very special moments that were on Mom's wish list, things during filming like recording what the boys' "in-the-now" sayings were - their bond together as brothers, the fact they that are total Mamas Boys! I'm glad to say that we captured all of that as planned, and even more organically. And, saying goodbye isn't easy when you're having such a great time watching the love a family shares unfold so naturally, however, I did leave this session so excited to share all of the moments we captured!

The days go by so fast, and it really can be a bit of a blur as people say, so I hope the love-filled moments I document for the families I serve act as a reminder of those early years together...and the love that you shared (and continue to share). I hope that with every image you feel your connection because I know I do.
